I am a Computer Engineering and Informatics graduate at the Cyprus University of Technology. I am currently working as a Back-end Web Developer at HF Markets which is a forex broker based in Larnaca, Cyprus. My main programming language is Python alongside Django. I have worked with both for over a year, for professional and personal projects. Some other technologies I am working with are Linux, Docker and PostgreSQL. My main interests outside of computers, include cars, rock music and cinema.
I am currently building a digital cookbook that my father can use as an interface for storing and viewing his own recipes. The main motivation for this project is to preserve unique recipes and allow faster access and less time searching instead from a pile of books. It is being built using the Django framework.
I have built a web interface to support the basic functionality of the PM4PY library, and principles of Process Mining. This project lasted a year and served as a project for my bachelor thesis. It was built using the Django framework.
I work as part of the team responsible for the company's websites and CMS and I am mainly focused on the back-end. Some of the key responsibilites are maintaining the back-end of the websites, updating the custom made CMS and building or integrating APIs.
During my studies I have provided tutoring support for various university modules, such as databases (mySQL) and web development (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP), for students that spoke foreign languages or had learning disabilities.
During my internship I have completed various tasks on both front-end and back-end for the company's websites and CMS.
